I don’t know about you, but finding time to make it to the gym can be hard. Between working and living, workout can easily fall by the wayside.
One of the best ways to cut down on your workout time, without cutting back on your actual workout, is build a gym in your Tucson home. Whether it’s room for a physio ball and a few dumbbells or a pilates machine and treadmill, your workout will be just seconds away. Here are a few examples of how you can add a workout room to your home.
A Relaxing Workout
Giving yourself a peaceful environment in which to workout is good for your mind and body. Place your treadmill in a a room with lots of windows. Opt for subdued colors, like sage green, and keep the décor to a minimum. As you reach your third mile, you won’t be distracted by excess clutter.
Two-for-One
Let your bedroom be a two-for-one room with the addition of a yoga mat and small stereo. Both can easily be stored between uses and require minimal floor space.
More Than A Basement
Don’t let your large basement go to waste. Turn it into an all-inclusive home gym with the addition of large mirrors, rubber flooring, and plenty of exercise equipment. Consider adding a mounted flat screen TV for a little entertaining distraction while you pump your iron.
Within A Box
If you don’t have a big basement, you can keep it small and simple. Sometimes everything you need fits in a box. With a set of five or ten pound dumbbells and a jump rope, your gym can be wherever you want. Take your workout onto the patio for the beautiful sunset or escape rain in your garage.
